Edison 250 drawers
Has anyone ever been able to put the drawers from a C250 into a C19?

Early C19's actually came with drawers for a short period of time, so theoretically it is possible. I'm curious, why would you want to?

Thanks Fran. I have arthritis and I like the drawers on the C250 better but if a really nice c19 came on the scene I might be able to do that.

The C-250 never had shelves; they all had drawers.
The C-19 started out with drawers, but soon went to shelves.

George is correct. If your Chippendale is missing drawers, it wasn't a C250 originally.phonogfp wrote:The C-250 never had shelves; they all had drawers.

I must tell you though; either way those drawers can be a real bear to open when they're loaded up with records. With arthritis, it might not be an improvement for you.

Unless someone removed the drawers from a C-250 and never put them back!fran604g wrote:If your Chippendale is missing drawers, it wasn't a C250 originally.

Re: Edison 250 drawers
Someone elsewhere suggested storing the DDs in milk crates and I think that's probably the best solution since that machine is so heavy anyway. I can put my favorites in the slots on a C19 and be able to get them out easily. Thanks to all and if you take exception to anything I say, please let me know. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
