SOLD: EDISON STANDARD D - $700

Post by ambrola »

This one has a K reproducer and a wonderful flowered horn. It is dirty and I should have taken it down to wipe it off, but you know what they look like. Bedplate is 95% and it works great. It has been my machine for checking cylinders for a long time.

So originally you were not offering a crane? Or is the crane in the picture a reproduction?

Ronnie, I've been curious about the reproducer on this Edison Standard D since you listed it. You have it described as having a model K reproducer but the reproducer top in the pictures here in this listing and the pictures on Ebay appear to be green usually indicating an early model H reproducer. The earlier model H reproducers were adorned with green tops to immediately distinguish it versus the model C reproducer. I've never seen a model K reproducer with a green top as seen in your pictures. Is the one you are including here an original model K reproducer? All K's that I have seen had the normal issue nickel plated tops. Just curious. Maybe I'm seeing green and it's a gold colored top?

Thanks,
Doug

$700 with shipping was a nice price, especially with such a pretty horn.
