The one you guys are likely to fall for is a phone call that claims "they" tracked the serial number of your Victor II to you and that the original owner had paid to upgrade his machine to a Victor VI, but they lost his contact information at the factory. Since you are legally the current owner of the machine, the offer applies to you. Strangely enough, they have just found the paid purchase order in forgotten files at the Victor museum and they also have the Victor VI still in the packing crate... NOS. All you have to do, is send them the Victor II and they will send out the replacement as soon as it is received...
