Nearer my God To Thee, Ferderick Kinsley, Organ.

Thought some of you might like to hear this Organ record if for no other reason than the amount of sound this hymn puts out. I guess it gives the organist a chance to really open it up which in popular pieces he recorded are pretty rare. As usual using the True Tone Diaphargm and the Standard edison head which all my videos so far have used. This was played with the mute at least half closed. You might want to turn down the volume on your speakers a bit till you hear what your getting.

Ummm....

That link goes to a selection by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir; not to an Edison DD...... :?

Hey Bill your right, I don't know how that happened as I took if off the site of the organ selection? I will fix it. Hopefully the link is now corrected!

It is now correct, and it does indeed pump out the sound. Is it an electrically recorded DD?

Clay its a 51879 recording which would make it a rather late acoustic from what I know.
