The double listing does look a bit suspicious. $1,200 probably is a reasonable price, if it's real. Condition doesn't look bad. Wonder if the shade cover is original.

I've had the pleasure of listening to one of these. Based on its hybrid form I had been expecting a fairly pale, thin sound; contrary to expectation, the tone was surprisingly warm, rounded and loud. I suspect that its tonal richness was largely due to the way the sound from the horn/lamp body bounces off the hard surface of the tabletop. Quite a happy marriage of form and function!
