Definitely Walnut, I'm surprised there seems to be no effort to match the grain.

I wonder what my cabinet is made of.
It's dark on the inside.
No motor in it though and no record holder.
And someone painted it a hideous orange color.
I wondered what the record holder looked like for it. So it's neat to see the picture.
Edit: My bad...Mine is not an H2 ..looks just like one though.

I've seen that style in walnut on occasion and the L-2 is fairly frequent in walnut. I think I've seen more of the less expensive Grafonolas in that wood than I've seen something like a VV-X.
