Has Anyone Tried a Masterphone Attachment..??

I was wondering if any member has ever tried the Masterphone attachment before. I ask because, I'm afraid to install it on a Exhibition. I just don't want any of the now hard rubber to break off, etc....

If a member has tried one, was there a noticeable difference, or just another gadget or gimmick offered to take ones money from their pocket..?.

I found one under the lid of an oak Victrola XIV I purchased about ten years ago, but never tried it, as I assumed it was more of a gimmick than something practical, but who knows?

On Ebay--#371303479894 Masterphone literature, think the guy has about 6 of the papers.

I had one, and installed it carefully per the instructions. Zero effect, to my ears.
