Can't you put the gasket on top of the raised edge instead of on the bottom surface?

I'm not familiar with the D reproducer; but it appears to be the D-2B, as pictured in Hazelcorn's book.

Now, is the problem that the inner gasket does not sit properly on the ledge? Or does the outer gasket stand proud of the body of the reproducer after you put the diaphragm in?

Instead of deleting posts, it would be more informative to post a response.

I hope you have found the solution to your problem.

Seriously. This could have been helpful for somebody looking for an answer to this in the future.

The reason I deleted all of my posts is because I was embarrassed and felt ridiculous for asking because I realized that it was as simple as making a thinner gasket. I guess I was just being hard on myself. I certainly wasn't angry at anyone on this forum and thank you for your answers. Jerry, you were right. I can put a gasket on the raised ledge. Bill, yes my problem was that after I installed the bottom gasket and diaphragm it would not leave enough room for the bezel. Sean, you're right I shouldn't have deleted all my posts.
Again I'm very sorry to everyone. Will you accept my apology?
