Talk-O-Phone Reproducers

Post by Phonofreak »

I have noticed 2 types of Talk-O-Phone Reproducers in all my years of Collecting. I've seen some with Talk-O-Phone printed on the black label with the 1902 patent date. The other ones I've seen just have the 1902 patent date. Does anyone know which one is earlier?

The reproducer on my machine shows only the '02 patent date, plus 'Other Patents Pending'.

It's an unbranded model, similar to the "Eagle": my assumption was that they left off the name on these, as opposed to the 'name brand' models... ?

Could the reproducers on an Ohio Talkophone "Say Talkophone" and a later just has the patents when it just called Talkophone Phonograph?
