I agree: either that particular cylinder was partially out of round, or perhaps irregularities in the plaster may have kept it from sitting true on the mandrel (in which case, careful reaming might help)....

Thanks for all the compliments! I'll be sending my model L reproducer to Steve Medved next week, and the diamond A after that's done. I can't wait to hear it once they are rebuilt!
