Post by Talkophone »

I placed this in the Machine section but should have maybe posted in this section since it is French? Trip Tray or?

It could be helpful to know the dimensions- but my feeling is that it's just a glass dish and doesn't necessarily have a function.

Maybe it's one of those little trays that hold four to six small glasses. The idea of enjoying an aperitif with friends while listening to your instrument seems very civilized, very thirties, and quintessentially French.

Sorry guys here is the size 4 ½" by 5 ½" and I think you can see in picture it is concave. I thought maybe tip-tray or maybe even ash tray?

I didn't see the concavity before. It looks too shallow to be an ashtray though. More likely a business card tray for a store that sold phonographs/records, I'm betting.
