I installed a new belt, oiled it, and it runs smooth and cuts beautifully. This is quite possibly the best shaver Edison ever made. Easy 1-step cutter height, auto-stop, AND it has an electric light above the cutter! Everything about it is well designed through and through. Takes flat leather drive belt. One shave pass plus one fine 2nd cut in under 1 minute for regular 2-minute wax. Top drawer collects wax swarf. $SOLD and I can deliver it to Wayne in the Fall. Or meet you in my travels to Montreal, Westchester, Western New York, and Michigan.
