I second that observation. You look much older than you are.

Ha! that's what everyone says about me. Marc, I am actually kind of short. I'm only about 5' 5" or 5' 6"

I am hoping to make it. I have wanted to go to a Union show for a long time. However, some unexpected medical complications may prevent it. If that turns out to be the case, I have a nonrefundable room reserved at the Country Inn & Suites in Elgin for Friday through Sunday nights that may come available for someone at a good price. Will know more about how that will go next Wednesday. Keeping fingers crossed that I can go.

I will unfortunately not be attending this year due to conflicting obligations. I'm hoping to make it next year for sure.

I guess since everyone else is doing it... 8-)

Unfortunately no, it's a picture of me on my way to work...in Michigan. I'd much prefer cruising around in Australia!

I usually stay in the Super 8 motel in Woodstock, which is about a 20 min. drive from Union. This time, I was looking for a room and found another Super 8 motel in Hampshire, which is less that a 5 min. drive from Union. I've never seen this motel before. Is it new?

Hi Marcapra,
I stayed at the Super 8 in Hampshire in 2012. It is real close to the show. It looks like a few of us will also be at the same Hotel, Ryan ( Winsleydale) Rich ( rgordon939) Kent ( Kent in KC)and myself Pete ( Flashpanblue). Hope to see you there!
Pete

Is Jasper opening up his place again this year? I don't think I read it in here anywhere. If so, new attendees should see it. No place like Jaspers.
