I take back what I said. I checked out the reproducer and it is a Mobley. They are pretty rare. If someone in the Forum really wants this, A few of us from the Washington State region can pick it up(after it's paid for)and ship it. It is not that big and can be shipped. Yes, it needs help, but this is a machine worth getting and properly restored.

I saw this. It needs a lot of help. Like everyone else said, it needs the right motor, turntable, ETC. I think the back bracket is wrong. It looks like one for a Victor III or IV. As we know these brackets are not interchangeable with the Vic III, IV, and the Vic V or VI. Basically all you are getting is a case and the reproducer. It will cost really big bucks to properly restore this. It will be interesting what this will go for.

I believe Mike is correct. They told me I would need to drive down and show ID. I have a bid in also..

Whoever else is interested can email Goodwill to see if an agent can pick it up after it is paid for. The worst case scenario is that it can't be done.

I read the listing again. Below, the listing says that a third party can pick it up, and ship at buyers expense. The buyer will have to contact the Goodwill to make final arrangements by email. They will give instructions on how to do this.

Harvey, just so I understand....you are willing to pick up the machine, package it and ship for the winner at no extra cost..??.

Expect to pay sales tax also. When I was seriously looking to buy in Oregon, they told me they would collect sales tax even though I would have picked it up in Oregon where there is no sales tax. Wasington's sales tax is nearly 10%.

Sorry for being late getting back on the Forum. I made a suggestion so other members won't get left out. Tacoma is pretty far from where I live. But if someone gets the machine and they can't pack it, I'll pack it and send it. All I ask is to be reimbursed for my expenses. I hope this clarifies what I said.
