Exihibition Reproducer Stuck

Got a tech question. I am going to replace the Isolator on a Exhibition Reproducer. The brass Isolator inner ring is firmly stuck to the tube. I removed the screws holding the isolator to the reproducer but unable to rotate the pin to the slot for removal. I am thinking about soaking the grove in WD but don't want to damage the gold finish. What do you think. Last case would be to break the hard rubber off and cut it off. Jack

Remove the hardened rubber and try gripping the ring with a pliers and wiggling it
