Successful phono delivery or... show us your mess!

Post by Valecnik »

My shipment of personal property, including a few phonos arrived Friday. Not all is unpacked yet but it appears all of the phonos arrived without damage. I've been busy all weekend unpacking and reassembling. I'd removed and packed separately all the motors. I also brought over 5 upright Edisons. They were the first things to go into the house so are not visible here. :)

Bruce,

I'm glad everything arrived in one piece.

Longer down you can see what happen to my Amberola when I got it shipped from The States. It can easily be fixed with some glue, but I have never got to it. I'm too lazy  Anyway, the side is faced against the wall and not one person I have showed the Amberola too, viewed from that side.

P.S. Do I spot a Sheraton in the right of the photo ;)

Paal.

Bruce I'm glad you got everything ok. Know if that were my garage I would only get to use half. For some reason the wife thinks the other half is hers. Know to get then in the house (Wives think your nuts and you should put then some place else) Nice looking collection.

And a big thanks to Phonocookie for making his garage available as the consolidation point for my stuff before the move. (It was stored in various locations)

You mean a garage is for cars? So that's why that door is so darn big!
