Dang, I was afraid of that when I saw the thread title. I met Bill at Union 30+ years ago and then 7 or 8 years ago he and I rode together with Ken Wood up to Union. We had good times on that trip! My heartfelt condolences to David.

I am ever so sorry to hear that. I dealt with Bill for years and he was an absolute prince of a guy. It is a sad day.

Didn't know Bill or talk to him. I have talked with David and made some trades with him now I know why David is such a nice Guy. He takes after his Father who taught him well.

Many thanks for the thoughts, prayers, and condolences. Dad began collecting back in the mid 1960s when I was 6 years old. In the early years, I would tag along to local flea markets and antique shops, and chasing down potential finds. We had such fun, and found many treasures...each with a story and special memory. Later in life we enjoyed following ebay, talking about Stanton auctions, attending phono shows, and following threads on TMF. As his health worsened, I would often read and share posts from the forum...which he enjoyed. He was especially interested in prices realized at the recent Stanton auction. The time we spent looking for phonos, working together restoring machines, and talking about the hobby has given me such wonderful memories. He had a real passion for the hobby, and met many of his best and closest friends through collecting. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to share the hobby with my Father and best friend. It is because of Dad I am proud to be a 2nd generation collector. He will be missed.

We are very sad to hear of Bill's passing.
We saw Bill only one month ago when he was showing Lerria and me his fine collection. He was happy and light hearted, and that is how we will remember him. Your father was a good man and a dear friend.
We understand the void a father's passing can leave. Let us know if ever there is anything we can do.
With deepest sympathy,
David and Lerria Rosamond
