I have Monarch Senior #561940 (assuming the decal's "Reg No." is the serial number?), so perhaps there will be some early vs late comparisons possible.

If the number on the decal isn't actually the serial number, where would I find it? There are no other obvious markings, nor any sort of ID plate like Victors have.

I have an early one of 1903 or 1904, serial number 2319: http://grammophon-platten.de/e107_plugi ... c.php?4924

What is the number of your Exhibition reproducer? Mine is 40309

On my G&T gramophones it is stamped on the underside of the case.
