Greetings,
As APS co-chair program director for the APS program at the Union show I a have received some questions concerning the Friday evening program at Union and also if Jasper's Victorian Mansion would be open for tours on Saturday evening after the show.
Since 1975, the Annual Phonograph and Music Box Show and Sale in Union Illinois have attracted thousands of exhibitors and collectors of antique phonographs, music boxes, records and accessories from all over the world. This year's event marks the 40th anniversary of the show!
The Antique Phonograph Society (APS) is sponsoring an evening of free presentations at 5:00 PM in the meeting room adjacent to the show and sale area. It starts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday after the show closes for early buyers and is open to all. After Randy Donley's opening remarks regarding 40 years of the Union show, Shawn O’Rourke, a leading contributor to the quarterly APS journal, will bring to life his series of articles, “How Does That Coin-Operated Phonograph Work?” Next, John Levin, a noted collector of early cylinder recordings, will present CPS1, his new cylinder playback system. The result of years of research and development, John explains how CPS1's technology delivers negligible record wear and superior fidelity to other playback systems.
You'll be hungry after the show on Friday. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Donley's are offering a Buffet style of all you can eat for $15.00.
Saturday evening after the show, Jasper's Victorian Mansion will be open for tours. A fee is charged which goes to charity.

Although the APS has no legal or financial ties to the show, I can answer that YES, the $40 Early Buyer badge gets you in on Saturday and Sunday.alang wrote:Question: Does the $40 preview admission for Friday also cover Saturday and Sunday?
