Picked up this Edison Standard Model-D at an estate sale. Cleaned it up a little today and was very pleased with the condition it was in. Now to figure out if I should keep it or sell it. Very quiet machine. I put a new belt on it using the belting I got from Wyatt Marcus. You can see the clothes pin holding the glued ends together.

That's a great first machine to start a collection. It's also an equally great machine for someone that wants one versatile Edison. You can't beat a model that will play both two and four minute cylinders if you have C and H reproducers. Jerry Blais
