FOR SALE: EARLY EDISON SUITCASE - $550

Post by ticticdok »

Early Edison suitcase for sale. Asking...$550 for the machine with horn. Restored and looking great! Plays as good as it looks! This machine has been totally overhauled! Motor reworked, bearings regreased, reproducer rebuilt, case and bed plates redone. I usually like to keep machines original when possible, but with these being 100+ years old, sometimes you either restore them or have a shelf decoration. This one has turned out to be a real gem! Has the back bracket for a cygnet horn. I have a 14" black and brass horn that I will include with the sale. I will be in Union next weekend and will bring it if anyone is interested or drop it off to someone along the way from Alabama. Thanks!

Ummm.....

This appears to have the works of a later Model A in an early case. I have a Model A from late 1904, and the serial number is in fact lower than this example (120840). :?

I think that it's priced right for what it is... Still a nice addition or "filler" machine to anyone's collection.

:o)
