It was the mahogany machine that we were tracking. We did not notice the incorrect parts. Therefore, I sincerely apologize for the challenges, accusations, and questions.
I personally know that you have a temper, but don't we all? Aside from that, you appear to be a welcome contributor to this hobby.

hey john,
thank you for your apology....it takes a good man to apologize.....
i love this hobby as all of us do...i was brought up in the phonograph word with my grandfather and father being long time collectors...my father said i was born with a record in one hand and a horn in another...
my frustrations are yours also as i do not want to be grouped together with a couple other people who do tear apart great machines....i am a junk yard of phonograph parts and work on parts everyday and i just love it when i can save parts for the collectors that need them....
thank you all for your business,
mark

Hello All of us that were watching this train wreck of a thread.

This forum is a fantastic place to meet (virtually) others with a similar interest, and both learn and enjoy at the same time. I ask that everyone type as if they were face to face and shaking hands with the person they are exchanging with.

This way those with something to share will feel safe and free to do so and the rest of us will benefit.

I had missed this topic up to this point, but am glad the breakaway thread has now been resolved.
As an aside to the character and generosity of Mark I would like to relate that recently I bought an excellent Triumph A without a crank.
Our true wrecking nemasis was stripping a perfectly good machine and selling a square fitting crank, the only one for sale on Ebay.
I contacted Mark asking if he had one in stock which he did not.
He bought a reproduction one from Ron Sitko and passed it on to me for the price he paid, not a penny more.
Nuff said.
Alistair.

This is after he offered me a 2nd chance at my max bid price. Who bids over $287 for a recorder then doesn't complete the transaction ?

He also listed this for the same $277.77 a day later...

Can I prove it, no. Is it obvious to someone who has done some 2000 ebay transactions? Yes...

Regardless, I will never knowingly by anything from Mark. I want good karma recordings...
i will prove you are wrong and stop this attack....auction 191550996440 was completed by ebayer sirdesmond13....his name is Des Gaull out of Australia...contact him if you like..he also bought a "h" reproducer and he liked that also.....you were offered a second chance offer thru the ebay system because i have inventory of more recorders and who doesn't that has been around this business for over 40 years....thank you for all who contacted me about this attack on my integrity and it is the shame of it when you have to defend yourself in a public forum and it makes you think why but if you don't ...
fair enough. I guess the use of the same image (to me that meant that same physical item) for the ebay 2nd chance threw me off. Makes sense now. Please accept my apologies. Why not just tell me that when I confronted you on ebay messaging, and before I reported you? That would have avoided / corrected my confusion...
