Results- nothing earth shattering- it hasn't dissolved, crumbled, or burst into flames. It's just cleaner.
I'll do the bottom case tomorrow

You put that stuff on far thicker than I do. Do you find it makes a difference?
How long do you allow it to sit before removing it?
You might want to post pictures of the dirty rags or towels to show the newbies just how much crud comes off when you do this.

I don't think the amount makes a huge difference, but I apply it with my bare hand so glopping it on is easier.52089 wrote:You put that stuff on far thicker than I do. Do you find it makes a difference?

A lot of dirt came off, but I seem to recall that in the 1970's I clear coated the top with lacquer spray to hold on the flaky finish. I think cleaning the base cabinet will make more difference

Rewsults after leaving the Gojo sit about 10 minutes, wiping it off & letting the surface dry a bit

Hmmm... Looks like a risky cleaning procedure.
Can you do it again with a different machine but post
A video to YouTube?

...YET! Seriously, though, nice demo; looks good. It was kind of you to provide it. While I'm also partial to using New Life -- mentioned in the other thread -- because it is sold especially for wood, it costs quite a bit more than good old GoJo, and to be honest, I doubt if the results of using either could be distinguished from each other. Both work very well, and certainly do no harm at all. (Might be worth noting that both have a limited shelf-life, and break down into a syrupy liquid after about a year in the jar. Still just as useable, but much sloppier to apply after that.)...it hasn't dissolved, crumbled, or burst into flames.
