Recently completed Columbia BH
I originally took this little Col BH to sell at Union. The only horn I had for it was a small repainted horn the size of a Standard Type A horn and the crank was a make shift replacement. The overall outfit didn't do much for me. At Union I purchased a small nickel horn from Bruce J. As soon as I saw it I realized it would look great on my BH. From that moment, I decided to try to find the correct little BH crank. I tried several available cranks but all were much too long. I had an original Columbia crank in my parts case in case someone wanted to trade. I had all but given up on finding the correct crank when I noticed a nice looking Col AH with a short pee wee sized crank on the side of a tall AH case. The machine was owned by Rod Pickett and he graciously accepted my offer of a trade. Now both machines have their correct cranks. With the beautiful nickel horn and the correct crank, I packed the little BH for the trip home. Thanks Bruce! Thanks Rod! Now comes the difficult part... finding a place in the basement. Jerry Blais

Hey Jerry, Very interesting. Nice looking combination. Is that an eight panel nickel horn? I also purchased my eight panel nickel horn at the show( the one I tried out on your Col BN). It also ended up on my Col BH when I returned home. It just looks appropriate for that machine.
