... my machine was at the back of my phonograph room and I had to move a lot of stuff out of the way, and then dust it off, carry it outside, .......It is identical, same brown turntable material. Tone arm is also Gramophone Company England. Recording Angel plaque, brake, speed control match in the same place. Single spring motor.
And slightly larger than a Vic III.

No, no branded on Deutsche Grammophone mark on the inside. I think - if my memory is holding up - that it may be in the German catalog 1911/1912 and named as Monarch III. I am trying to find out to get the ID on this model so that we know.

You confuse the double spring Monarch III of 1911/12 http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 5949&hilit with this model.US PHONO wrote:No, no branded on Deutsche Grammophone mark on the inside. Please look at the underside of the case. Can you identify the letters "D.G.A.G." before the serial number?

Re: The international HMV?
Yes exactly, thanks! I must of seen the III in a catalog about 10 years ago and just had the corner columns in memory....and over time my memory of the columns got a bit warped!
