Thank you Oceangoer1

Now I remember that a TMF member posted photos quite a while ago of one he's restoring.

Current Value?

Yes, that's one of the wide Period models. I checked my Victor Data and Look For The Dog but information about those unusual models is not complete. I think the asking price is more than fair. If you have the room and want an truly rare Victrola, it's certainly worth consideration. Jerry Blais

I was waiting for someone to comment on the price, which personally I think is a very good price as well! Get it!

It's an extremely good price and a rare and special machine... But I imagine to some any initial asking price may always just be too much, especially if it's just going to be resold... Or maybe I've just been watching too much American pickers lately.

I didn't realize how rare this model is.
It is obviously not a machine I am familiar with.
I didn't mean to knock the asking price.
It was an uniformed knee jerk comment about $1900 seeming high.
I guess I was thinking that $1900 buys an open horn Victor. :)
It is true however, that CL has created the possibility for some incredible bargains.
I am just trying to pay my mortgage, medical bills, and two college tuitions on my one salary (my wife who's still recovering from the removal of a brain tumor, is a full time care giver for my oldest daughter who has multiple medical needs, so unfortunately this machine is not in the cards for me right now, so have at it.

Thanks Gene, I'm two hours away. I would have to dip into savings to make this work. We'll see what happens.

It looks like it needs a big Gothic Revival robber-baron's mansion to house it...

You guys won't have to fight me for it...

This looks like the intermediate Chippendale console, if not the full deluxe version. Great...if you have the space...
