Picked up two nice machines. An nice early Edison Standard Model-A with the two clip carrier-arm and the roller and lift lever. Also a real nice Edison Standard Model-D that I just put a new belt on. I use a clothes pin to hold the belt together till the glue dries, as you can see in the picture. This Model-D is almost silent when it's running.

Re: Two New Machines
I would love to get a "Change of Reproducers decal for my Standard "D". My cover does not have one. Some of them did not come with them... I'd like to add one anyway..
Anyone know of anyone that has one or a repro of one??
Also, If you notice, His standard "D" does not have a 4-2 minute decal either..

Rich, Really nice looking machines. My wife's friend's family just got a Bull Mastiff puppy----10 weeks weighing in at 21 pounds.

Re: Two New Machines
When we got our English Mastill named "Gus" he was also 10 weeks old and weighted 45 pounds. He grew up to be 36" tall at his back, 7 feet long with his legs stretched out, and weighed 225 pounds. He was the most gentle dog I've ever seen. He ate six pounds of skinless boneless chicken breasts a day mixed with a pound of rice, a can of carrots, and a can of soup. They are very expensive to own. This is a picture from the day we picked him up from the breeder in Pennsylvania.

Re: Two New Machines
Rich - your Standard A (#27844) is the lowest serial number I have yet seen in the New style case. It is also next to the earliest machine to use the type 4 patent plate. Very, very nice.
Your Standard D is nice too. Would you mind sharing the serial number for the Standard Data Project? Great find!
