That looks great.... Actually, I would leave it, the color and finish looks smooth and even.

Chers messieurs,
I wanted to announce that I had started my Victrola finish to give it its true color, which is mahogany. If I try to find impeccable original parts, then why not give it its true colours? It will be long, arduous but I'll take the time to do it again in full, even the Interior.
Here a picture.
Mahogany taint is applied. I'll put the clear varnish soon.
