I have a beautiful, fully working L-Door Oak Victrola I'd like to trade for a wood horn Victor or Columbia or Zonophone.

You might just be able to trade for a metal outside horn machine, but one with a wood horn could be a stretch. :?

What did you get in return for it?
"The phonograph† is not of any commercial value."
Thomas Alva Edison - Comment to his assistant, Samuel Insull.

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."

I had my choice of a Victor 2 with a wood horn or a Columbia with an original wood horn.
Since e bay is flooded with victors, I decided on the BI
