FOR SALE: Edison Standard Model D Business Phonograph - $325

Subject: FOR SALE- Edison Standard "Business" Phonograph Model "D" (1908).

I have a rare Edison Standard "Business" Phonograph Model "D" (1908) with 6" chrome mandrel. It comes with a recording horn and it's original reproducer. It has the spectacle device which works properly. It has its original working pot metal main drive wheel which works but has normal cracks from being 100+ year old pot metal, but it also comes with a NEW one-off Repro Main Drive wheel which I had custom made for it which is an "exact" match to the original. The case finish is in Golden Oak which is quite rare since most were fumed oak. The machine is 90% complete. The machine has its correct attachment points for the horn which are usually missing with these, but the horn prop rod itself will need to be made or located since it is missing as is the "recorder" module. The recorders can be found on ebay. It's a rather rare business phonograph since most of these were electric powered and not spring motor powered like this one. No electricity needed! I'm looking to sell this locally here in Central Florida as I don;t feel like shipping this thing. It's rather heavyier than a normal Edison Standard phonograph. All the case wood is in very good shape with no missing veneer, but the bedplate of the unit will need to be repainted and re-detailed with new pinstriping from Gregg Cline. The machine itself is clean and not greasy. It's a great project for someone looking to collect this rather rare Edison. I have too many other projects right now. I am just looking to get out of it what I have into it which is quite a bit. The last one that sold on e-bay which was the exact model went for $575.00 plus shipping, and the case was nowhere as nice as this one. I'm looking to get $325.00 which is more than fair for this machine. The item comes with (1) mint 6" Amberola type Dictaphone Cylinder.
