Wanted: HMV no 4 brass reproducer.

Post by bart1927 »

I am looking for a nickel plated HMV no 4 soundbox with brass back. Not the earliest nr 4 with the words "HMV no 4" visible through the mica, and not the latest no 4 with the mazak back. I want the brass soundbox with the words on the back.

Of course I prefer an already restored one with fresh gaskets and rubber ring at the back (how do you call one of those?), but if that's not possible an unrestored soundbox will also suffice (provided it's not damaged), so I can send it to someone who can restore it for me.

Thanks in advance, guys!

Bart

It's called by several names: rubber isolator, back gasket, back flange, or, simply, flange.
