ges. gesch. = gesetzlich geschützt = registered trademark
Made for a short time around 1923 by the Adolphon GmbH (Company) in Berlin. This company wasn´t a real gramophone maker, but a Bakelite factory. Another gramophone I saw by this company had a equal looking tonearme - but made from Bakelite. Are you sure the tonearm is wood and not painted Bakelite? For a short time they made in 1924 radios, after c. 1925/26 auto parts made out from early plastics.
