I have adjusted the governor on this early motor (VV-XI), it sounds a little noisy. I also rubbed my hand across the bull gear, it feels sharp, so I suspect the bull gear needs replaced.
I then looked at the governor brass drive gear, and there ware some dings (burrs) in that gear.
Are these quad-cut gears (bull gears and governor drive gears the same on all the later Victrola's)
I just need to know so that I can get replacements, or should I just not be concerned with replacement?
