Edison Coon Record
There were a few Edison records that come with my Edison A250 and none of them struck me as being unusual except for this comedy record. The singer mentions returning from the trenches and France so I assume it is WW1. I was wondering if it is rare, valuable or of any interest to Edison record collectors. I don't intend to sell it, but I would like some insight into this type of recording. Thanks.

Not at all rare, I've got at least two copies, possibly more. Oh Lawdy is a fun record!

The "L" side has obviously seen the wrong side of a lateral reproducer with a steel needle, judging by the ribboning of the grooves. Sorry... Not only common but also trashed by incorrect playing.
