Charley My Boy, Georgia Melodians, True Tone.

I would have liked to put up the reverse of this the "Red Hot Mamma" selection but it was played way more than this side and thus not worthy of recording any longer. This one has mild wear but still performs pretty well.

Sounds great Larry. Hot number, Edison music dull ? ---- Nope !
How is the Bruce holding up ? Any scoring yet ?

Thanks for asking. Yes I am getting a light scoring in the run off and have for some time. My best guess is that some of the records I played had hard to detect flaws that may have caused some minor damage to the stylus. However the playing grooves have not shown any evidence of wear such as one might see when you run your finger over the stylus after playing. If I play a record that is new to me I may see a bit but that stops after a few plays and cleaning. The sound is holding up well. The Charley My Boy record is by now probably around the 5,000 side point. I just received a new stylus which I will be testing shortly.
