Yes, the C1 and C2 radio phonograph combinations featured electric amplification of regular Diamond Discs (and normal lateral discs too). These machines were extremely expensive for their day and were only made for a very short time. The C1 is very hard to find now, but the C2 shows up occasionally.
AFAIK there was no Edison machine to electrically amplify long play discs.

Thank you Victor IV Oct. 3, 2011 I had seen a C2 advertised in the trader section but on closer examination or comparison to the DD book I see it was really a console No. 2.
