Al Jolson At Ease

Post by earlyjukeman »

I just picked up this multi record set of 12" 78sin its' own special case. They are the recording of a radio show that Jolson did live. I never saw these before. I have two old LP's of the same thing. Are they "RARE". Should I be storing them on a down pillow in a box? I once went to look at records for sale in a house and the woman had one Caruso record stored like that. Took a quick look and the records look mint but the case is a little worn.

Sounds interesting, I think they will be fine stored as one would keep other 78s. They aren't acetates are they?

I cannot imagine Al Jolson "at ease"! The very concept boggles the mind. I can still feel the earth trembling. ;)

Here are some pictures. They are not like the usual 78 as they are a bit flexible..
