Thank you, Nick.

A few more questions, if you don't mind (found at the bottom of the survey on the first page of this survey):

11. Grille cloth? Color?

For those with C-19's, please supplement the above information to include the following addendums to the list of criteria that I've asked for previously:

12) Is the reproducer, horn throat, and other hardware on the turntable gold plated or gun-metal?

13) Is the record storage door held open by a rod at the top, center shelf or the bottom of the cabinet?

14) Are the numbered strips for the record storage 1-36 on both strips or 1-36 on the top strip and 37-72 on the bottom strip?

15) Does the governor have 2 springs or 3 springs?

Best,
Fran

11. Grille cloth: none. Reproduction grille from Thomas Rutkowski.
12. Gold plated hardware
13. Rod at the top holds the record storage door open
14. The number strip for the bottom shelf is missing so I only have 1-36 on the top
15. Governor has two springs

Hi Fran,

I promised you this:

1. Model Designation (C-250 or C-19): C-19

2. Serial Number: SX-140362

3. Bedplate Pinstriping: N

4. "Official Laboratory" Medallion: Round

5. Exact Wording of the Medallion: "Diamond Disc Official Laboratory Model Thos. A. Edison"

6. Record Storage: Drawers or Shelves? 2 Shelves with dividers, Bottom Shelf numbered 1-36, No Numbers on Top Shelf, need replacement.

7. Cabinet Wood Type: Oak

8. Duncan Stop?: N

9. Dealer Tag: None

10. Original Dated Sales Receipt/Shipping Documentation, etc. (Dates are particularly noteworthy): Factory 33

11. Grille cloth? Color? Looks like Panty Hose, Ruffled in a Moss Green (I removed it).

For those with C-19's, please supplement the above information to include the following addendums to the list of criteria that I've asked for previously:

12) Is the reproducer, horn throat, and other hardware on the turntable gold plated or gun-metal? Gold except for a Nickle plated good sounding Reproducer which I hope to replace with Gold.

13) Is the record storage door held open by a rod at the top, center shelf or the bottom of the cabinet? Center Shelf

14) Are the numbered strips for the record storage 1-36 on both strips or 1-36 on the top strip and 37-72 on the bottom strip? 1-36 on bottom strip, nothing on top strip. Need to buy that.

15) Does the governor have 2 springs or 3 springs? Pretty sure it has two.

Hope this is what you need.

John

Thanks John. Up here in WNY, our squirrels are as big as hogs. ;)

I noticed that you recorded your serial number with the prefix "SX" are you absolutely certain? I've not seen an SX with any serial numbers.

Thank you, Ronnie!

I have a couple more questions for you, if I may:

1)Are the numbered strips of the shelves both 1-36?

2)Are you positive that the governor has 3 weights? And if it does, does it look like the one in the picture below?

I appreciate your contribution to the work.

Best,
Fran
