Anybody live near Santa Rosa?

Post by OrthoFan »

:!:

I'm not sure which model this is, but I think it's a deal for $200.00 --

This is an Edisonic Beethoven... *the* phonograph of Edison Diamond Disc phonographs... and yes, for $200 it is a steal.

Too bad I'm on the east coast. :-(

This is Moo's Beethoven on YouTube:

agreed... this is one of those, kick yourself forty or fifty times - hard - if you missed it, machines... especially for that price. there was - maybe still is - one for sale in CA by another collector who used to frequent these boards, and the asking price was more than 6 times as much as I remember.

I see the ad was pulled. I hope this means that someone got a bargain.

yes, and you may very well see it on ebay some time soon, if not at one of the upcoming phonograph shows.

I know the purchaser, and a) yes, it was a great bargain and b) no, it most certainly will NOT be coming up for sale in the foreseeable future.
