Retrieved from my father's collection is a record collection that is made up of early 78rpm records. Many very hard to find titles as well as labels. I honestly do not know how many records there are...I estimate 1500-2000. These records were hand-picked by my father, so you will find no depression-era stuff here! These records are not junk...they were all selected by my father when he came across records over a 40 year period, and he would keep the ones that interested him. Hundreds of Rural Comedy, Uncle Josh, Military Band...and a choice selection of old record store stock Diamond Discs that retain the record store record slips that appear to have never been played.

Would prefer to sell as 1 lot; would entertain the idea of pulling special ones. They are not cataloged. They have just been separated into the types of content of the record...ie - jazz, fox trot, rural comedy, march...and so on.

If sold as 1 lot, I would make a grand deal to the buyer!! These records have all been in a climate controlled environment for as long as I have been around them...nearly 35 years.

I would also entertain the idea of a trade...so ask about this as well.

I have decided to sell individual records/lots from the collection. Again, these records have been categorized by the content of the recording, and not the title of the record. There are hundreds of early Rural Comedy, Uncle Josh, Military Band, Political, early odd-spindle size, and so forth. As I had previously mentioned, these records were literally extracted from tens of thousands of records that my father had come across over a thirty to fourty year period. Thus, they are not your $1.00 a record flea-market variety. They have never been picked over.
If you have a specific interest, or are wanting a specific record...I will attempt to assist you. If you want to see what is there, I can arrange for that as well.
