I have a rare 1930 EDISON R-6 radio for sale, RARE! restored! PRICE CUT FROM $500 TO JUST $300!!! Can deliver to APS show this Sat. for free. It does have phonograph jacks in the back, which can accept a turntable, Ipod, Ipad, CD player etc. See youtube video of it in action. This was the last musical product produced by the Edison Company.

A super rare and beautiful radio. They sound great too when restored. I had one in my living room for years and used it daily. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks! I think the buyer of this radio will have to be a serious Edison collector who wants something from the final year of production. I also own another R-6 as well as a near mint Edison R-7 radio. In the background you might see a smaller Edison R-5 from 1929, which is also for sale. You can play electronic devices on all of them as they all have phono jacks in the back. Since it's a radio, you could put a cylinder machine on top of it as the top does not open!

Wow you've certainly got a good representation of the "end of the line" there.

At one time I owned the R-5, R-6, as well as the C-2 & C-4 radio-phonos.

A potential buyer might find this thread interesting. I posted some original sales brochures of these models which also spurred some good discussion.

Geez Marc, if I had the funds and a large van (not to mention the room for several great Edison additions)...
