Radiofest 2015

Post by audiophile102 »

I went to radiofest, http://antique-radios.org/ which is an event sponsored by the Illinois antique radio club of Illinois and I saw some interesting machines including an Edison C250 for sale, $65. dollars. I didn't bother to ask about it. The Empress music player at $2700. was quite nice. The rest was just fun to look at.

My first love of antiques was old radios. I went that show in the early 80's but I have never been back. Great pictures and Thanks for putting them on the forum.

You don't see Aereola Grands everyday. (Third picture)
On second thought, that might be a Radiola Grand, I think the Westinghouse Aereola Grand had 8 tubes
(4 triodes and a ballast tube for each one)
