You ask a great question....albeit one that will more than likely have as many different responses as there are respondents that are willing to share!
Simply taking into consideration the phonograph market in its current state, and realizing that this machine is what it is, I would suspect that a reasonable price would fall in the 500-600 dollar area. If it brings the 1K asking price, that's fabulous! Like I said...just makes the really good stuff look much better.

There was a nice oak one available here in the Washington DC area on craigslist for about $250. I paid $4oo for mine in mahogany a couple of years ago, and thought that was a fair price. I've seen worse for more in local antique stores. If you want it enough $1000 might be a fair price.

I have an oak B250 that I paid $800 for, some years ago. I knew it was a bit too much, but it was SO nice and untouched I couldn't resist. I have never regretted it. If I didn't already have that, I'd offer the same money for this one.

Agree with you Jerry. Finding one in such pristine condition is well worth the price difference imho. I paid a lot more for mine too in oak and would happily do it again.
