I'm still waiting for a diaphragm and some gaskets from them....

Dennis & Patti appear to be operating on a seasonal basis: they switch over to garden supplies in the spring.

We stopped in to see Patti just last week to buy needles in person, on our way home from Oneonta. Patti was very busy setting up the garden center for the season and did mention that they have a back log of phono business.

Dennis and Patti have been working on gardening and greenhouse stuff. I ordered some Exhibition mica diaphragms back in the spring of 2008, like she said it would be late summer until they were ready. I made sure that I ordered 10 since the quality of work is good and the wait was a little long.

It does seem that Dennis and Patti are not as supplied with alot of original parts anymore. It was always fun looking through their well stocked catalog in the 1990's. I think the rise of machines sold on ebay in the 2000's probably ran them low on parts.

Dennis and Patti do offer great replacement parts, a little high in my opinion but they are great parts.

I've been waiting on parts for a couple months now but after looking up some information on there average wait time I found this thread. When do they usually start switching back to phonograph parts from Gardening supplies? Also If I need parts in a fairly short time should I order from someone like Ron Sitko from now on?

Yes, you should go to Sitko, whose turnaround is prompt. Also George Vollema (at Great Lakes Antique Phonographs in MI) is great and very customer-service oriented, as are Dwayne & Donna Wyatt (at Musical Americana in CA). Dennis and Patti are nice people, and I used to order from them a lot, but no more. You shouldn't have to wait 3-6 months to get parts from anyone. That's just crazy.

Agreed. I've ordered parts from all four, but Ron and Wyatt's left me with nothing to complain about. Great experiences, as was my experience with George V.

Yes! Dennis and Patti are very nice people, but I think the internet kinda slowed them down for business. At one time APSCO was probably the leading parts source in the country. I have always wondered if they had bought out an old parts supplier.
