Looking for a Edison disk label

Post by audiophile102 »

I have a Edison 78 record with most of the label torn away and I would like to make a new one. Do you have the the record, "Like a Star That Falls"? It's written by Kerry Mills and sung by James Doherty. Only a small part of the label is intact. The other side is missing completely. I want to print up a new one and if you have a photo that would be nice. If not, I can type it into a blank label using Photoshop. The other side is just a guess, something about "On the banks of the Wabash" The record is in good shape otherwise. Thanks!

Just scan a DD label and use PhotoShop to remove the title and number. Then add your title and the correct title for the reverse and print them out...

Thanks, that's what I intend to do only I don't know what the actual titles are. There is just a small corner left on one side and the other is completely gone.
