I have a nickel plated morning glory horn for sale. I polished it somewhat, still seems to have spots, but it does sparkle! The connector end has been "modified", the pictures show how. It has a few bumps and bruises, but is quite striking yet.
Here is a web page with lots of pictures"

Please let me know if you have any questions. Asking $150 as is. Plus shipping.
I would also consider a trade for a good Edison Model C or Model H reproducer.
Thanks! Cliff
P.S. - Jerry B. has kindly offered to take to Union. Have to talk to him about those arrangements.
Thanks, Jerry!

Re: FOR SALE: 11 Panel Ni Plated Morning Glory Horn - $150
I am very tempted: it would mean I could have a dedicated horn for all of my cylinder machines.
The question is, how is that elbow attached to the horn? Is it soldered, or what? I would be leery of applying a torch to that end.
I suspect, looking at the hanger mount, that it's a Hawthorne & Sheble product: the floral decals look similar to another H&S horn I have.

The elbow is pushed in, it turns easily, but doesn't seem to want to come out easily. I didn't want to try to pull it out.Lucius1958 wrote:I am very tempted: it would mean I could have a dedicated horn for all of my cylinder machines.
