Credenza at Memphis Estate Sale
I might go look at this, but I really don't have any room for another Credenza!
This one is in excellent condition (except for the one bun foot who's pieces are near the turntable). I wonder what the price is on it, since estate sales tend to run a little high. Looks like a great machine for anyone looking for a Credenza!

Cabinet looks pretty nice, but something's going-on with that reproducer... there's a whitish ring around the back-plate... hope that's not corrosion....

I think its some silicone sealant or something that someone put around the reproducer to seal cracks. Maybe there were some pot metal problems?

Any ideas what is in the front left corner of the turntable area? I've seen rails to place records on on the left side, but that is not what we see in this pic.

Those are pieces of one of the bun feet, I believe. I have seen many machines where they place the broken feet pieces in the top just in case anyone wants to glue them back on.

Re: Credenza at Memphis Estate Sale
We have a typical 1920's "Jaco-bethan" dining-room suite whose table legs are doing a similar "shedding" of glued-up parts...
I just keep tossing them in the bottom drawer of the side-board... someday someone can glue them back on....
(I'm still curious about that whitish stuff on the reproducer...)
Did Credenzas have the record-rest rails ? My 8-12's have them...

I've had them both ways with the turntables off to the side. You can actually pile more records inside without those things though....
