SOLD: Oak Cylinder Cabinet (NJ - Wayne Delivery) - $550

I bought a group of cylinder cabinets not too long and just don't have space or a use for all of them, so I'd like to sell this one. Obviously, it's oak... it holds 134 cylinders on numbered pegs attached to five pull out trays... all the pegs are present and only one, in the front, shows any real damage. As the photos show, it's pretty pristine and totally solid, has that nice ornate detailing on the door... everything looks original, and this is large enough to accommodate pretty much any cylinder phonograph, from a small Standard or Fireside to a Triumph. If someone is looking for a nice cylinder cabinet look no further this is a beauty. I'm sorry I sold it to Brian but I also had the same problem, to many cylinder cabinets.

I'm curious - does that bump-out lip on the top and the leaf applique` on the door mean that this was made by Larkin ?

Looks like a Larkin cabinet to me. Have had many of their sheet music & record cabinets over the years. They had a warehouse here in Peoria, Il back in the day and a lot of Larkin furniture passed though this town. Not too bad for a gift for buying $20 worth of soap products!!
