Possibly one of the harder records to find that my father had. Manhattan Record from 1906-1908, 12 inch, one sided. Sold exclusively by Simpson Crawford Company New York, Siegel Cooper Co. Chicago and Henry Siegel Co. Boston. Title is..."Phyllis Und die Mutter" old German folk song sung in German by Anton Van Rooy with Orchestra Accompaniment.
This was the only record like this ever found by my father. Tested, and plays well.
Add $20 for secure packaging and shipping.

Re: FOR SALE : Manhattan Record "Grand Opera Series" - $50
The only Manhattan I saw was pretty obviously a Columbia disc (of Gilibert) in origin. This one looks as if it could be Columbia 30097-1/M-131-1 Phyllis und die Mutter (Schumann) 30097, A5000 which van Rooy made for them in 1907 or 1908. The label is presumably connected with Hammerstein's Manhattan Opera. Decidedly unusual.
