WANTED : Victrola governor ball bearing

Post by TonyJ »

Stripped down a 2 spring motor over the weekend for a VV-VI and as luck would have it, one of the tiny ball bearings has gone missing from one of the governor end bearing sleeves. Would be interested in purchasing one if someone has one in a spare/junk part drawer. Not sure what the actual motor model is, but is like the one shown below. Thanks!

My local Ace hardware store has a drawer with several sizes of tiny ball bearings. You might find a suitable size in such a place.

I don't know the size either, but try your local bike repair shop. I needed one small steel ball for a lathe I am repairing and they had it!
